FROM CALL TO CALLBACK

Plumbing call answering from leak reports to estimate requests.

A plumber working under a sink cannot always stop to answer. No Days Off Reception gives callers a place to describe the problem while your crew finishes the job. The approved call flow asks about active flooding or a major leak and whether the concern involves a drain, fixture, sewer line or water heater.

The organized request helps your team start the callback with useful context. Your plumbers confirm coverage, response availability and pricing before arranging service.

Questions matched to your work

  • The plumbing concern and whether the caller reports active flooding
  • The service ZIP code and a short description of the request
  • The caller’s contact details and preferred callback time

The receptionist uses your approved call flow and asks a short follow-up when an answer is unclear.

AN EXAMPLE CALL

A water-heater request while your plumber is under a sink.

“We have no hot water. Do you service water heaters in my area?”

What the receptionist collects

The receptionist records the water-heater concern, asks for the service ZIP code, confirms the caller’s contact details and notes a preferred callback time. Questions follow the services and urgent-call instructions approved for your business.

What your team receives

A water-heater callback request with the reported problem and service location. Your plumber checks coverage and discusses inspection and service options; no repair advice or arrival time is promised.

Illustrative call, not a customer testimonial. Your approved questions and call plan may differ.

YOUR CALLBACK CONTACT

Dashboard details. Email, text, or both.

New requests are saved in your private contractor dashboard. Choose email alerts, text alerts, or both for your configured callback contact—yourself or the team member you designate.

Text alerts require the recipient’s opt-in. We configure the destination and test delivery before enabling alerts for your account. Text recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Does your phone ring?

That depends on your forwarding plan. With unanswered-call forwarding, your business phone can ring first and the receptionist handles calls you do not answer. With all-call forwarding, calls go to the receptionist.

A new-call text or email tells you there is a request to review. It does not transfer the caller to your mobile phone. Your team returns the call and confirms any appointment.

YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR CALL FLOW

Keep your number. Choose when calls reach us.

We configure your greeting, services, service ZIP codes, hours and callback contact. Depending on your phone provider, you can forward unanswered calls, all calls or calls outside your business hours to your dedicated receptionist number.

Your existing business number stays yours. Forwarding settings and scheduled routing depend on your carrier or phone system; we review the plan with you before activation.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to expect from your receptionist.

Call answering is configured around your business. Your team stays in control of the work and the commitments made to customers.

Can it collect urgent plumbing requests?

It can record what the caller reports and follow the urgent-call instructions approved during setup. It does not dispatch a plumber or promise an arrival time. Immediate danger is directed to emergency services or the appropriate utility.

Can it handle water heater and repipe estimates?

Yes, when those services are included in your approved call flow. It captures the type of request and callback details; your team handles inspection, options and the estimate.

Can it answer after-hours calls?

Yes, when after-hours forwarding is part of your call plan. The receptionist collects the request and follows your approved instructions. An answered call does not mean your crew is available for an immediate visit.

Does it automatically book appointments?

It can collect a preferred visit time when appointment requests are enabled. A requested time is not a confirmed booking; your team confirms the appointment and availability.

Where do I see the call details?

Your private contractor dashboard organizes the caller’s contact information, service request and callback details. You can choose email, text, or both for your configured callback contact. Text recipients must opt in, and we test your alert delivery before enabling it.

What happens with an urgent or out-of-area call?

The receptionist follows your approved urgent-call instructions and directs immediate danger to emergency services or the appropriate utility. It does not dispatch a crew. If the caller is outside your service ZIP codes, it records the request and explains that your business must confirm coverage.
