FROM CALL TO CALLBACK
A remodeling or construction inquiry often needs more context than a name and number. No Days Off Reception asks about the project type, property, approximate scope and desired timing while you coordinate crews and active sites. The call flow uses the services and service ZIP codes you approve.
Your team reviews the inquiry before deciding project fit and arranging a discussion. Estimates, site visits, subcontractor coordination and construction commitments remain with your business.
The receptionist uses your approved call flow and asks a short follow-up when an answer is unclear.
AN EXAMPLE CALL
“We are planning a kitchen remodel and would like to discuss the project.”
The receptionist records the project type, location and a short scope description. It notes the customer’s desired timing and confirms how and when your team can return the call. The questions reflect the remodeling and construction work your business offers.
A remodeling inquiry with the project outline and callback details. Your team decides project fit and confirms scope, estimates, permits and scheduling during follow-up.
Illustrative call, not a customer testimonial. Your approved questions and call plan may differ.
YOUR CALLBACK CONTACT
New requests are saved in your private contractor dashboard. Choose email alerts, text alerts, or both for your configured callback contact—yourself or the team member you designate.
Text alerts require the recipient’s opt-in. We configure the destination and test delivery before enabling alerts for your account. Text recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe.
That depends on your forwarding plan. With unanswered-call forwarding, your business phone can ring first and the receptionist handles calls you do not answer. With all-call forwarding, calls go to the receptionist.
A new-call text or email tells you there is a request to review. It does not transfer the caller to your mobile phone. Your team returns the call and confirms any appointment.
YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR CALL FLOW
We configure your greeting, services, service ZIP codes, hours and callback contact. Depending on your phone provider, you can forward unanswered calls, all calls or calls outside your business hours to your dedicated receptionist number.
Your existing business number stays yours. Forwarding settings and scheduled routing depend on your carrier or phone system; we review the plan with you before activation.
SETUP AND TESTING
STEP 1
Start with the service application. There is no charge to apply. We review your services, coverage, greeting, business hours and who handles callbacks with you.
STEP 2
Test the assigned receptionist number before forwarding customer calls. Listen to the greeting, check the questions and closing, and verify the request appears in the dashboard.
STEP 3
Use your provider’s forwarding instructions for the agreed call plan. Call your existing business number from another phone and check the routing, request details and approved alerts before final activation.
STEP 4
Review new requests and return calls with the customer’s details in front of you. Your team confirms coverage, appointments, availability and pricing.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Call answering is configured around your business. Your team stays in control of the work and the commitments made to customers.
Yes, if those projects are part of your approved services. It asks for a short scope description and desired timing so your team can start the follow-up conversation with context.
No. It collects callback details and, when enabled, appointment requests. Your team confirms project fit, availability, the site visit and any estimate or work agreement.
Yes, when after-hours forwarding is part of your call plan. The receptionist collects the request and follows your approved instructions. An answered call does not mean your crew is available for an immediate visit.
It can collect a preferred visit time when appointment requests are enabled. A requested time is not a confirmed booking; your team confirms the appointment and availability.
Your private contractor dashboard organizes the caller’s contact information, service request and callback details. You can choose email, text, or both for your configured callback contact. Text recipients must opt in, and we test your alert delivery before enabling it.
The receptionist follows your approved urgent-call instructions and directs immediate danger to emergency services or the appropriate utility. It does not dispatch a crew. If the caller is outside your service ZIP codes, it records the request and explains that your business must confirm coverage.
